I was sold an endowment policy in 1986 by and IFA. The company has since ceased trading. I feel I was mis-sold the endowment policy, but I cannot find any organisation to put my claim in against.
Any advice??
BTW I live in Scotland.

have you had a warning letter about a shortfall ?0

as the policy was sold before 1988 then there is no scheme available to you. The FSCS is for plans taken out after 1988.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0
