Old style hairdryers...alternatives

Hey all,

I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on an alternative product to the old style hair dryers from decades ago? As far as I know they are called "Ronson Escorts".

Basically you have a blower unit and then simply a long tube attached which you use to brush through your hair while it dries. They are really gentle and take ages to actually dry your hair.

Now the thing is they are from the 60s and really hard to come across. On eBay they have a couple and very rarely seen at carboots.

Does anyone have any ideas for similar products which deliver a really gentle dry...or any tips on where to get hold of these old beasts!?
