The dresses my bridesmaids are getting are made from 50% Polyester, 50% Viscose. The largest size they go up to is 12-14 and two of my bridesmaids are size 14.
Does this material stretch? We went to try them on but the store doesn't have them and i have to order online.
But i dont want to order and then have to try and sort out a return and refund if they dont fit.
Thanks in advance

I'd say not.
Try posting the same question on the Old Style Board, someone there will know.Baby Ice arrived 17th April 2011. Tired.com! :j0 -
I'd also see if they're a big 14 (nearly a 16) or a small 14 (nearly a 12) as that will make all the difference.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

It depends on the type of polyester and how densely it is knitted or woven together.
Some fabrics are knitted (t-shirts for example) and they stretch because this is how the fabric is created and just a sort of side effect of that. They don't really need lycra or any sort of stretchy materials in them to make then stretch.
Some fabrics (eg jeans) are woven and they don't stretch, this is just a side effect of many woven items. (However, you can add things like lycra to give stretch to woven things to make them stretch)
Having said that I don't know many bridesmaid fabric that would stretch- the more natural the fabrics, the more likely it is to "give" over time but your looking at about 14 hours of wear to really even begin to notice anything. Viscose is a natural fiber but isn't one that would generally strech alot if thats any help! And I can't see the company using fabrics which are knitted rather then woven for a wedding outfit so I'd hazard a guess at saying 'no' to your stretch question.
I'd say conact the company, its the only way your really going to find out- sorry!0
