After reading loads of the posts on here I went for the Kozeesleep Xilence mattress and while it is really nice i'm really hopping i can switch it for a pocket spring and memory foam now. I slept on one at the weekend and I think it's going to be the only answer for my back.
I'm interestted in the La Romantica Madrid but wanted to bring it in under £300 if possible by getting an amazing deal on one of comparable quality.
Saw this on Amazon at £295
The Joseph Memory Tuft Eclipse Pocket Mattress uses 1000 medium tension individually pocketed springs and a deep layer of memory foam to create an incredibly comfortable yet supportive body moulding mattress.
Theres a luxury Belgian Damask cover with a hand tufted finish, deep padding for extra comfort, and side ventilation for breathability. An excellent value dual sleeping system mattress.
Small Single: W 75cm x L 190cm
Single: W 90cm x L 190cm
Small Double: W 120cm x L 190cm
Double: W 135cm x L 190cm
Kingsize: W 150cm x L 200cm
Super Kingsize: W 180cm x L 200cm
Zip Link: W 180cm x L 190cm
Firmness - Medium
Type - Memory Foam
Material - Damask
Features - Classic Fillings
Is this a good mattress and a good deal can anyone tell me?

What size mattress are you after?
I can't find the depth or the density of the memory foam mentioned on any of the sites I've found it on.
It is non turn, but that's all you will get for £300.0 -
Thanks for your reply. I hadn't factored in non turn - of course I want that too and a good memory foam density. I'm now realising I really should purchase from a particular site (it would be easier to use the same one I'm sending back my return to so am a bit restricted). And that I will have to go over the £300 budget.
Do you think this compares favourabley with the Romantica Madrid?
Hypnos Bedstead Pocket 700 Mattress
The Hypnos Bedstead 700 mattress is brand new for 2009!
Part of the Hypnos Bedstead Collection, the Hypnos Bedstead 700 mattress has already proven itself a top seller!
The Hypnos Bedstead 700 mattress mattress contains more than 700 ReActive pocket springs (in the Kingsize), working independently of each other to shape to the contours of your body without causing the mattress to dip unnecessarily creating discomfort and pressure points.
The Hypnos Bedstead 700 mattress also boasts a luxurious layer of Memory Foam, which reacts to body heat and pressure to conform to the bodys contours to create amazing support and comfort. The Hypnos Bedstead 700 mattress relieves pressure build ups and helps with aligning the spine to aid joint ache.
Packed with layer upon layer of sumptuous natural fillings such as wool and cotton, the Hypnos Bedstead 700 mattress also features air vents to aid moisture and heat management. The Hypnos Bedstead 700 mattress only requires turning once per season to help maintain the original shape and prolong the lifetime of the mattress.
I can see it's a turn mattress good but again can't see density of memory foam or depth. So would it be as good as the Madrid?
Any help very welcome - thanks0 -
Only 700 pocket springs, but still charge £475 for a king size??????0

£350 for the double. Ok, maybe persevere with the KozeeSleep Xilence for £285 as at least it's better than my old Layzee open coil spring?
Thanks for your replies, very helpful.0
