Tesco Money-off Clothing Vouchers

With the x £s off when you spend x on clothing vouchers, I was wondering if you buy something that is reduced does it go thru' the till at the original price and then the discount come off or just go thru' the till at the reduced price. If it registers at the original price first, does this mean you can use the vouchers even if you haven't spent the right amount??? A bit like the BOGOF situation and the toiletry vouchers at the moment.....does anybody have any experience of this happening?

I don't think this would work, I'm afraid. The clothes go through at the reduced price usually, unlike BOGOFs on toiletries, which get discounted at the end.
Might work if some clothes are BOGOF or something, though? Dunno if any clothes are, but maybe some kiddies' socks or pants or pyjamas might be?0 -
Thanks Dormouse for your reply.
I do remember someone posting that they had managed to use them without spending the correct amount and even using two in one transaction.
Maybe I'll just slip one in on my next shop and see what happens. I'm buying a few clothing bits for my son away, so it's worth a shot.0 -
Ah, that's different - you can use more than one in one transaction (as long as they're different).

As long as you spending the amount for the highest-value voucher, the lower value ones should work, too (depending on the SA - the till will accept them). So, if you're spending, say, £30, the till will take the £6 off £30, the £5 off £25 and the £4 off £20.
