Can you get LLU broadband outside Belfast?

I'm curious, My exchange has non LLU (IP Stream) and it doesn't matter which provider you go to you get rubbish speeds, the usual excuse it "Aw your to far from the exchange" really do I need to live inside the exchange to get anything above 1mb in the evenings as I live beside it.

I'm 400 yards from my exchange in Randalstown and ive just done a speed test and get 17mb on o2

WOW, That must be excellent, Im on O2 Home Access and I get 5mb in the morning and in evening can be as low as 0.3mb, thats Magherafelt area

Depends what is unbundled at your local exchange, most have Talk Talk !!!!!ee unbundled, I'm patiently waiting for O2 to unbundle in the Waterside Exchange in Stroke City:o

A friend lives close to the exchange and has TT unbundled, he gets a nice 21mb stream:o I get 8md supposidly through Tiscali (now TT) but top speed between 4-6mb depending on the wind:o

You really should have a better speed NI Guy living closer to the exchange:o

O2 Access is your problem, I moved from O2 Access to AAISP and my speeds shot up from 0.3Mbps to around 6Mbps
