Any watch repairers in NW?

I know there are plenty of places that mend watches, but none of them can help. My OH has his grandads watch, its about 100 yrs old now. Until recently it has worked well. It did break a few yrs ago & the only place he could find to fix it was a little place in Widnes called " The watch Dr". Unfortunately, this shop has closed, & OH has tried the usual places around here, but keeps getting the same "sorry, its too old". He would be prepared to travel ( but not hundreds of miles)We live in Warrington, so if anyone knows of anyone who is a wizard with watch repairs I'd love to hear.

Hi there is a watch repair place in Richmond Street, Liverpool. They are called Phoenix Watch Repairs. Why not give them a ring and see if they could repair a watch that old.
