Two thereads devoted to asking prices rising.
Oh how anyone who used rightmove to show asking prices were falling were laughed at. But now, it's brilliant, let's use rightmove!
Hurrah. Let's celebrate.0 -

No, they were pointed to the fact that sold prices are the more important info. (Asking price does not = sale price. So all asking price data tells you is what people expect to get, not what they sold for.
Perhaps more indicative of sentiment than value)
Who is celebrating? What has the OP done to you by posting a link exactly?0 -

What? I see this playground just got serious
Ah sorry, I did not realise that your comments were for playground level.
Let us know in the future GD and we will try and keep it a bit more "child friendly" for you.
Bet you wish you had a teacher training day today.0 -

Ummm, yeh.
I kinda meant your response. "What has the OP done to you". Found it pretty amusing. Now you are just trying to hard.0 -

Shame you did not find the OP's post amusing instead of going off on some weird tangent of people laughing at others and others were celebrating.
Can't see what I am trying hard at but we could discuss the thread if you like.

Oh dear, is Graham trying to start an argument and screw up a thread again. Hey ho, nothing changes does it?"I can hear you whisperin', children, so I know you're down there. I can feel myself gettin' awful mad. I'm out of patience, children. I'm coming to find you now." - Harry Powell, Night of the Hunter, 1955.0

I think some people are struggling to accept that house prices are back into double digit inflation, and sentiment is turning entirely 'positive'. A self-feeding upwards price loop is back, only this time based on low transaction levels to compensate for lack of finance. There is no crash any more. There is no massive bull trap. I predicted peak 2007 prices by Q3 2010 and got banned on HPC. That prediction looks to be well on course.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. unfortunatly very true - there has been a direct relationship between house prices increasing and some people on this forum being increasingly unstable. it's tragic.Turnbull2000 wrote: »I think some people are struggling to accept that house prices are back into double digit inflation, and sentiment is turning entirely 'positive'.
