Kilmarnock PDSA volunteer drive launch is today

PDSA ANNUAL VOLUNTEER DRIVE IS HAPPENING ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY THIS WEEK,TODAY MON 19TH APRIL UNTIL SAT 24TH APRIL.
Volunteers can learn new skills,gain employers reference from PDSA,meet new people and enjoy social activities and most importantly help to raise much needed funds to care for poorly animals.
Contact your local branch to find out how to get involved in a special 1 hour taster session or just pop in.
KILMARNOCK BRANCH WELCOMES CELEBRITY VOLUNTEERS!!!!
Any close enough to visit the Kilmarnock branch this week could be served by one of out local celebrity volunteers.Pop in to meet the celebs and find out about volunteering too.
If volunteering still isnt for you then just pop in and support the PDSA by shopping there and helping the animals and your pocket at the same time.PDSA as well as selling the usual type of charity shop lines such as good quality clothing,toys,books have a lovely range of new spring goods and a great range of pet toys and treats too.
Celebrity volunteer diary for Kilmarnock PDSA shop at The Foregate Kilmarnock is as follows;
MON 19th 10-11 MSP Cathy Jamieson
OFFICIAL LOCAL LAUNCH AT 2PM today by SNP candidate,vet and chairman of THERAPET,Mr George Leslie.
Tues 20th from 11am Malky McCormick the famous cartoonist
Wed 21st 11-12 Councillor Stephanie Young District Provost
Thurs 22nd 11-12 Gwyneth Guthrie famous actress and writer
Sat 12 noon NUTZ the Kilmarnock football team mascot will be lending a big blue and white paw to the PDSA,bring the kids,all welcome
The first day went well and we are very gratefull for the support and time given by our local celebrities.
