Repossession of joint mortgaged property & bankrupty

I'm currently bankrupt and tied in to a mortgage with an ex bf who's doing everything he can to make my life more difficult. The mortgage hasn't been paid for around 9/10 months and the house has been abandoned for a long time. My ex has changed the locks so I can't receive any post from the mortgage company, but I phone them every now and again to see what's going on. I called a couple of weeks ago and they weren't even close to repossessing it apparently. I'm currently bankrupt and I just want to get rid of the house ASAP so I can put the whole thing behind me. I'm not even sure how the process works. I'd be willing to just sign my half over, but I know he wont because he knows the shortfall will go to him, and he wants to make things more complicated for me. Maybe he's just trying to delay it for as long as possible, hoping the market changes so it will be worth more, then it will sell for more at auction and maybe he wont end up owing anything.

Just wondering if there's anything I can do? I assume I can't speed the process up. Will I have to go to court or anything? Any info on how it all works would be appreciated :)

You might be better posting on the bankruptcy board; some knowledgeable peeps over there. Afraid I have no idea at all of the answer to your question.

If he has not paid for that long it will be repo'd. I believe you both have to agree if you hand the keys back.

Did you AR include any short fall on this property in your bankruptcy?
