Pre-paid Credit Cards

Does anyone have any information on pre-paid credit cards, please?
I travel a lot, in my work, and do not wish to carry large amounts of cash (even if I had it). I did read, somewhere, that there is a pre-paid Mastercard, which is accepted everywhere that ordinary mastercard is accepted.

Hi
Cashplus is fine i use one. They don't help build your credit rating in any way though as they are not credit scored. Watch the charges though and do ant balance checking wither on line or via 0870 phone number otherwise if you speak to an operator you may well get charged. I have had my card about a year and truthfully the comapnay are great. Horses for courses really. I need one for work and it operates in exactly the same way as a normal Mastercard. Have even used it abroad with no problems at all.

or there is also easykard, although i dont have one they are more expensive as they operate US$ accounts
Hope this helps

Why not just open a Woolwich cash card account and get a visa electron card. That way you will notpay any charges, and albeit it paltry, get interest on your deposit.Don't lie, thieve, cheat or steal. The Government do not like the competition.

I'm sorry, I don't apologise. That's just the way I am. Homer (Simpson)0 -
