I had no idea these challenges were open for saving too. I know I'm ever so late joining, but I'd like to save £5000 by the end date. Hopefully next time around I can be organised from the start!
£5000?! there is only a month left (or just over!) how do you do that? Give me some money saving ideas, I don't think I could even save £500 in a month at the moment!!Debt busting 2022 Total £15842.68 £0 (100% paid since 1/1/22)- DFD: September 1st 2023[/b]

:hello: Hi all 100 dayers
Well done to everyone for sticking with it and congrats to all who have cleared debts
Sorry to hear about the insurance Aime, hope the complaint letter does the trick.
Found some money in an old purse upstairs while I was clearing out a drawer(see, I knew being untidy was a good thing
) There was the princely sum of £8 so I have paid that off the debt leaving me £257 to pay
This is the first time for a very long time my interest for the dreaded Vanquis has been less than £50 (got statement today)Ok so it was only £6 less than £50 but it's a start so these little bits really do pay off :j
Payday tomorrow so I hope to do a chunk as I have had some overtime againthen will see what there is after paying off direct debits.
Can't express how great these 100 day challenges have been, starting off with small debts but now having the confidence to get stuck into the most horrendous one feels so good so thanks again for the wonderful idea PaP :heart2:
Keep on going all everyone is doing so well :T

Hi all, nothing to pay til payday on Monday but just checking in to remind myself how good its going to feel when I get there, it has felt like a looooong time coming...
amie - sorry to hear about your car insurance and that you are feeling downI hope you get your money back. At least you know that you had cleared enough of your overdraft to be able to cope with the unexpected expense, if you see what I mean. I know that this time last year anything that cropped up would send me over my limit or going cap in hand to my OH
and, even though I'm not debt free yet, at least I have the room to breathe when things do happen. Don't feel bad, hopefully your karma is around the corner

I'm working away from home at the moment so all my living costs are covered. So as long as I don't buy anything by now and the end of the 100 days it should just about be doable!
Good luck with the rest of your 100.0 -
