Barclaycard's '0% forever' (old deal)

[This is about an offer which is no longer available from BC but the card will be held by many members here:]

A small point occurs about the 0% LOB card from Barclaycard. I always assumed that I would pay it off entirely once the standard rate balance (minimum purchases plus rolled up interest) was just equal to the amount of interest generated by the remaining 0% balance.
I will still do this but what I overlooked was that if (and when) you clear the whole balance you won't pay any purchase interest that month - provided you do so by the same 'due date'. Currently Barclaycard advises:
Interest free period Maximum of 56 days for purchases if you pay your balance in full and on time...
(i.e. no mention of clearing previous months' purchases....)
This could be worth a few extra pounds ... a small bonus!
.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam
