loan to a friend help..

i wasnt sure where to post this.. i know this is all a bit vague but basically long story short.. ive lent a considerable sum of money to a friend and it turns out she was using her mums bank account all along.. her mum wants to get the fraud squad in for her using the account because she owes her mum money.. im trying to reclaim my money and before i go through say a small claims courts etc i was wondering if anyone could offer some help..?

basically if the mum does get the fraud squad involved and they seize the account etc will they seize all the assets and then i wont ever get the money back? or will it just be until say their investigation is over then its free to return to me?

any info that people know about will be greatly recieved. thanks

You loaned your friend money and she put it in her mothers bank account, which she was misusing - this is clearly because your friend was too stupid to own a bank account of her own.
