Nvm, answered my own question by phoning them up. They have 3 in-stock in Wigan.

Derby PCWorld had none but on their computer system had Currys Derby down as having 4 - as of NOON today.

Went to get them at 1pm but mostly blank faces all round - nobody knowing what they actually are or where they should/might be located in the store.

Found someone who did know about the product - he mentioned a gentleman reserving some last week and believed they had already been collected. This was confirmed by another SA - as far as they were concerned this guy was a teacher and they were for use at the school where he worked.

Anyway I said "And he took the lot then ?" and another SA said "Hang on a minute"

She went under the counter and produced a rather battered looking package saying "Someone else reserved one 4 or 5 days ago but never came in to collect it, so you can have it if you want"

Gladly accepted - a bit dusty and out of shape but the contents are all there & just fine.

It's stuck on the window as I type charging up :j

Oh, and the same SA looked for other stock on their computer and said HALIFAX have SEVEN listed but that is a bit far away - Yes I agreed - but maybe for someone else ????

Just rang the above number only to be informed they dont do stock checks for stores or on the discontinued database.

well this is the number i rang and asked for currys and was put through and stock was checked.

FYI there are none in the Kingston area but possible 2 in Brighton. Can't confirm where in Brighton as have left the store now.
