I managed to spend 4 of my 6 wombled "voupons" today although I was a bit disappointed that the minimum prices seemed to have gone up to £6.75 on most things!!
Got a base coat polish for £1.75 (do NOT need any more nail colours after last voucher spree!!!); eye & lip shimmer thing for £1.75 and packet of wipes for same price; and a towelling headband for £1.
(Put them all through SS tills as separate transactions!)
Now what to spend my remaining 2 voupons on?

I don't know about other areas in the country, but London stores seem to be very low on accessories, like gloves, buffers, key rings, shopping bags etc.

I wonder if this means they are discontinuing them and/or we will have new things to spend our voupons on?

Managed to use my voucher on 2 Ruby and Millie clearance accessories items and only paid 75p! Have no idea if it would have worked if I had bought just 1 item which would have made it free (they were priced £3.00 and £2.75), voucher went through fine with no manual input from the SA. Not sure if I was just lucky but may be worth a try if you are lucky enough to find any. ;)

    Im really mad at myself!

Ive eyed up these a couple of times and thought that their quality was very very nice, and today decided to buy one:

No7 Vanity Case: RRP £20, £15 with voucher!

    http://www.boots.com/en/No7-Beauty-Case_924941/?CAWELAID=334516864&cm_mmc=Shopping%20Engines-_-Google%20Base-_---_-No7%20Beauty%20Case

The photo doesnt do it justice really. The finish on it is very soft and it has 2 pull out drawers which make the top and bottom sections deep enough for many makeup items or hair straighteners. It is quite large.
Normally at Xmas it has make up in as a gift set.

The reason im mad with myself is because if id have spent £2 extra i could have got the free gift with a spend of over £22!
I think im going to have to replace it, and take the original back.
Would be silly not to get the freebie for an extra £2.

The case was something i needed and im going to use the pull outs to put in my chest of drawers to use for lip liners and eyepencils , etc.
    Multi functional!

Only sell them in the largest Boots stores i think.

    :)

  • Hello I am a bit of a lurker to these boards. Not been on for a few months. In response to geordie lass I manged to get the £4 off in the back of the mag and £5 voupon to work in conjunction, so got the no 7 compact foundation for £4.50. So spent another 50p got another voupon, so bought the wipes as well for £1.75.

  • @ geordielass, fozziebeartoo and stressedofthe century...

Tried it yesterday with a friendly s.a. but it didnt go through..till beeped everytime no matter which way we tried to put it through...how annoying cos i had to buy it with just a £5 voupon off.

i wonder how the s.a. did it for you? Did they scan them both or have to type something in? Il have to have a another go with it next time im in Boots..

On a different note...the new eyeshadows, lipglosses and nail varnishes that celebrat No 7's 75 birthday... dont buy the eyeshadows...very little pigment and they dont go on well...lipglosses are ok but dont taste too good  In Leeds its now 342 and the GWP has disappeared as well...i cant keep up
  • Sorry to hear you couldn't get the £4 off and the voupon to work. I know the sa scanned the £4 off and then the voupon and it just went through she even commented on what a good deal it was. I don 't know if she pressed anything else, she was really helpful actually.

One of my local stores (Denton, Crown Point) has run out of the GWP, so they are doing No.7 on 3-4-2 & also accepting the Voupon.

Today I got the Diet Coke/Meal Deal + Free Nails Inc Varnish worth £10 (see other post here) along with some 17 False lashes to take the spend to just over £5 in order to earn the voupon, then went back & bought 3 x No 7 Nail Varnishes - on 3-4-2 then taking the £5 off, they were £8.50 for 3 & earned another Voupon & 32 points, therefore in real terms, only about £3 for all 3! Bargain!!

So my tea was sorted, along with 4 nail varnishes, 2 Diet Cokes, a bag of Maltesers & some false lashes. I've got some lovely new shades to add to my extensive collection!! ;0) In total, about £13 spent, but 2 x £5 voupons gained, so I'm happy with my bag of goodies!

    Sxx
