    I take it then, that the possibility of re-opening a BR's case would only apply if it came to light that the BR became a beneficiary of moneys whilst undischarged?
    [Regardless of whether the BR actually had knowledge of the money prior to discharge]


    Once discharged, if the [ex] BR...for an example, had a significant lottery win...whilst I think I'm correct in assuming the [ex] BR would not have to inform the OR......is there a mechanism whereby the OR can apply to re-open, to gain access to this win?

    No, I don't think all other drivers are idiots......but some are determined to change my mind.......

    no, they would only re-open a case if the the bankrupt had failed to tell them something that they lawfully should have done. as fermi pointed out the money devolves upon the bankrupt on the date that the person leaving the will died and in this case that was before discharge
