clearance icon on website

Hi all,

I have been monitoring the argos website daily in the hope that the clearance icon comes back now that the current flyer has finished. It has appeared today it seems but when you click on it it doesnt let you look at any pictures yet. Im thinking that maybe by tomorrow we will have a new list of clearance stock to look at.

This is a random thought but that fact that its there looks quite promising as it did disappear.

So this post is just to really say be aware of it as the quicker you notice it, the more chance of finding the reduced stock...although from what previous posters are saying its probably not going to be that good.

New Clearance Flyer in store tomorrow (9th). RO prices also dropping so i've been told but haven't seen anything about it yet

I picked up a clearance leaflet instore earlier today, there are items reduced from tomorrow until 25th of August. None of the items are showing on the website when you put the catalouge number in yet.

Loads of new items now showing on the clearance section, reserve and pick up instore later today!!!

Get yourself over to argos for xmas goodies. The toy section has some fantastic deals lot's of toys half price.

I shall be picking up a few toys to put away for xmas.......i know it's a bit early to be mentioning the dreaded x word but hey if it's a bargain grab it and put it away.

thanks, the printer cartridges i use are half price, so reserved them at my two nearest stores, and got a couple of xmas pressies sorted.

Thanks for that, managed to reserve some things for tomorrow - including a go kart that's in the new catalogue for £69.99 clearance price £35. My daughter had her eye on it and was going to ask Father Christmas!!!

Hi,

Wasnt sure wheather to post this on this thread or the RO as its just an update really.

I went to my local store today to collect a few clearance items i had reserved from the website. Outside the store was a board with pictures and prices of cearance items but BOTH of the items i reserved were not on the list even though they obviously had them in stock. I also checked on the in store checker and as i thought they now come up as no record of this item number. Also, in previous years they had a catalogue you could browse through with an old book stock checker and this has also gone.

In short, the moral of the story is dont rely on a list and checking in store, just reserve online what you want and collect. I would be intrested to know if the items came up on ring and reserve though.
