Have you looked at a notice of correction explaining its been paid but not updated to be used for now until you resolve it ?

I do have a notice of correction on, but the way I read it they do no good. I can only get credit cards with high interest rates (I get declined for all others, though I do leave about 5-6 months between each application) and I got declined for a mortgage in principle. The only ever problem I've ever had with credit is this one default, and it when I was 18 and didn't understand credit records and let someone use my Freeman account who forgot to pay it off. I won't make that mistake again :cool:0
