Spotted this on HUKD and thought I'd post it here if anyone is interested.

The gist is that you send your friend a text, and then your friend starts receiving ads via text.

I guess even texting STOP won't achieve anything either as you'll be sending the text abroad. I d'know.

Perhaps people could test run SMSjive by sending text to a spare SIM card if your friends/relatives have one. Just a thought if you think it’s worth a shot.
