My booka have arrived too - many thanks to bobsa1 for the code. The invoice enclosed shows the full price as does the order info. in "my account" on Redhouse books website. BUT on checking my credit card statement, they have only claimed £1.99. So all worked out well in the end.

  • fabulous find. I ordered 2 books (one in my name and one in my hubbys) for the kids and saved 10.00 plus free p&p on both orders-excellent!

Beware...just had credit card bill and they charged me two amounts £0.99 and £5.00. On ringing up they said offer was effectively a free book up to the value of £5....any book over £5 is charged at full price

Surely they can't do that as it doesn't read like that on the paper and terms does it? Awaiting mine still so will look at bill and if they've charged me full price...... I was just about to order some more books from them, having discovered the site only recently through the promo but I will go elsewhere for the books if not!
  • Does it come up on the order tracking as full price folks?

Yes it does but it seems some have managed to get the £5 honoured on books over £5 and some have not.... the trouble is they bill the reduced price for the book then have taken another £5 a few days later. Not sure if they are doing this in every case though
