need help finding a loan

Hi can anyone give me some advice please?

I took out a loan of 6k for a course last year and was given a 1 years interest free period. The loan will need to be paid back by 20th July and so far I have raised 3k and do not want to pay the rest of it monthly with an astronomical interest rate. So I need a loan of 3k soon so I can pay it all off in one go. Does anyone know if I will be able to get an interest free period loan again, and where I can get it from?

The original loan is from Barclays, and my credit rating is good. Thanks

very unlikely, the kind tax payer funded your interest free year and is unlikely to do so again
however if you have a good income and a good credit frecord then maybe a 0% credit card may help

I was thinking about a credit card, but it's a Barclays Partner Finance loan so do you know if I can pay this by credit card?

you would have to get a balance transfer.

If you get a credit card with a 0% BT offer then that would be ideal as you wont have to pay that astronomical intrest lol but with BT there is a small on average its around 2-3%

Sorry I thought balance transfers are only for paying off a credit card with another one? This is a loan I need to pay off. I think I'll just have to ask Barclays if I can pay it with a credit card, which leads me to another question - what are the chances of getting a 3k limit on a card?

I don't know if any other credit cards do it, but MBNA and Virgin let you do cash transfers to your bank account from the credit card, so provided you were given enough of a credit limit you could do that, and pay the loan from there.
