time of the month for supermarket offers?

Hello everyone,
Trying to save as much as possible on monthly shop, and have started a mysupermarket comparison deals using the best deals from all the leading four, but I wondered do the supermarkets keep there best offers until a certain time of the month.
For example at the end of the month when everyone gets paid, it would make sense for them to have better offers to grab the most shoppers with the most money at that time.
It would be great to know if there is a trend, to their bargains, as I would base my big monthly shop around this time?
