To be bankrupt or not to be bankrupt?

I have approx. £30k of debts and have been registered with CCCS for about 3 years. I have experienced further financial difficulties recently and am considering an IVA (tempted buy losing 75% of my debts). Unsure whether to go for it or not. Does anyone have any experiences they would like to share?

Thanks for the information. You have made it very clear how it works. I am already registered with CCCS for a DMP. I will contact them about this too.

    Thanks, again.
    Kate.

Hi Kate. There could be other ways to reduce your debt quicker. The guys here are great at looking into peoples spending and working out how to save money here and there. An SOA (statement of affairs) would let us have a look at this for you. Take a look at the sticky at the top of the board by Southernscouser.

    good luck!
