Hi All
Ive been floating around this forum for a while and deciding to go bankrupt on monday all things going well but wondered if any of you wiser people could just look at my SOA
A little background into why im going bankrupt may help
10 years ago my THEN wife managed to get into trouble without my knowledge (credit cards and loans of the internet without any mail coming to the door etc) to the tune of 35k once she couldnt hide it any more she told me. I stupidly (not back then) co signed a joint loan with first plus for the whole lot.
I eventually left her because the trust had well and truely been destroyed with this. I moved out leaving her with everything. She didnt change and got herself into the possition of loosing everything. approx 5 years later after selling the house she was left with a large part of the first plus loan left and an unsecured part of the mortgage that wasnt cleared. she duely went bankrupt and they chased after me as I had co signed both loans. :wall:
Any way thinking bankruptcy at the time was a bad thing I entered into a debt management program with baines and earnst. First people I came across and have been paying them ever since. Now Ive moved to london Its becoming unsustainable to pay them and after finding out it still wont be cleared for another 18 years im going bankrupt too.
Sorry long story........ But could you just check out my SOA
Please

If your GF lives with you her contribution to the household expenses has to be included on your SOA.:pB&SC No. 298

Thanks in advance for any help. info or advise you can give me.
I have made some suggestions, but like in my previous post, we need to know your girlfriends input into the income!:pB&SC No. 298

Hi many thanks for the quick reply. What info would I need to put on there? I recieve £200 from her towards the rent. And she buys all her own stuff. I don't know how much she earns as it's not really my business.
She's not to inpressed with the situation to begin with so I need her kept as far away from this as possible.
The more information you can give me the better.
Many thanks
also just to say the figures I had for the things not allowed came from the CCCS0 -
unfortunately if you live with gf her income is household income and contribute to household expediture. i had my or interview thurs he explained this and went through dps income I so worried he was gonna find loads of surplus but we don't any and he didn't! bf has his debts and 'luxuries' - it won't affect your gf she won't need to know you just need to have an idea how much she earns.

As you live with someone the OR wants to see that they contribute to the general running of the house. He will expect her to contribute 50% to the general running of the house. If she earns considrably less than you he will expect her to contribute a percentage according to the income difference.
So you need to put your full income, your OH's contribution to the running of the household, all amounts of bills in full.

Hope that helps.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Once again thanks to all that have replied.
I'm renting out a studio and council tax and all rates are included. Hence not on the SOA.
I'll put her contribution down and increase to the amounts suggested.
As for proving the travel a weekly travel card on the underground is £26 and every two weeks a return train fare home is £28 plus bus fair at the other end and if I then want to take my children anywhere :-S
the replies so far have been of great help.
Keep any suggestions coming thanks.0
