Missed a RM special delivery today...damnit!

Hey all

Only been comping a week

Entered about 300 comps so far & I missed a Royal Mail special delivery today!... hoping that it is something nice...it is ticked that it is a letter... I just hope it is not a new bank card or something!

Please help: I ordered a phone from T-Mobile and I asked the sales person to send the phone until a certain as I was going to be away but needed the phone as soon as I get back. But he still sent it before the date I asked him and I was not home when Royal Mail delivered it. So the phone was signed for by one of my neighbours. But when I got back there was no card from royal mail to say the phone was with my neighbor so I called t-mobile and they said it was sent and they gave me the tracking number and i tracked it and it said it was delivered and signed for. So I printed the proof of delivery and asked all my neighbors if that was their signature and one of them said it was his. But he has given the package to another neighbor who had the card from royal mail about the attempted delivery. Therefore it means that the postman put the card in the wrong letter box. Now the neigbor who took the package no longer lives in the building. My question is will I still be able to make a claim with royal mail because the postman made the mistake and put the card in the wrong box?
    Thanks

you are in the wrong section
however you dont have to claim anything
get back to T mobile and inform them their choice of delivery has failed and you never received your phone
i assume you7 are in a falt? it could be the package had the wrong flat no. (very common!) so the item will have been delivered as addressed
you may want to contact the police at this point as well
