I checked the results five minutes before voting closed, and at that time the Ulster Museum still had a 1.1% lead. It's so close, let's hope the announcement on 30th June confirms that our museum is the winner.0

I really don't want them to win it because the place is an absolute mess compared to the great place it used to be. But they probably will.0

Totally agree, apart from the cafe they've made a total mess of the place, badly laid out, poor limited exhibits, total misuse of the original atrium.0 -

Yes, in the previous set-up the exhibits were properly sign-posted and you could start at the top and work your way down to the ground floor quite easily. Now even with their hopelessly complicated 'map' it's like a maze and I saw loads of people wandering round completely confused.0 -
it has gone downhill a lot, and i don't think if it wins that it would fully deserve it, but i do think that is a flaw of the actual voting process itself, of course people are going to back their local exhibit, weather they have been there in the last week or even the last millenium! for a true reflection we would have all needed to have seen all the museams and made a proper decision, but that was never going to happen!
weather it is deserved or not, if they do win i hope they do make some improvements.0
