Help - how do I win?

I'm new to the forums here and keep seeing people posting about winning loads of things in competitions.
What am I missing out on and how do I do it?

start at the end and work to the start(of the comp forum) ,use auto fill,firefox with snaplinks and you will be well away ,and most important dont expect a win in days (unless your really lucky) then forget what you entered,and sit back and wait, you will soon be on name terms with the postie and delivery men within months,good luck and most of all have fun,

Sometimes you have to enter thousands before you get a win, it is all down to lucky really.
