I love the sudden turn around from "ewwwwwww its minging" to "hmm, if I had legs I'd wear it".

Personally I done like it, but I wore a huge princess gown with beads and silk and glitter and it couldn't have been more the oppotise of that dress. I don't think i'd like it if it was traditional materials and full length all the way round either, just not my style.

£82 is a bargain though, if I could have gotten a separate evening dress for less than £100 i'd be doing cartwheels! (i was dying to get out of my dress by about 7:30!!

What's your daytime dress like, Gleeful? you'll definately turn heads in that, that's for sure. Hope it fits and hope you can dance in it.

Crikey you're all a bit harsh. I like it, apart from the fact that it's leather. Are you going to put pictures of all your dresses up so everyone can comment?

    I think you'll find a thread with everyone's dresses in there :D

I know, it's like now people on here know someone from MSE bought it they are trying to be nice. To be fair, the dress isn't to everyones tastes, but I know with the right jacket and accessories it will looks great. Going to surprise OH with a spangly silver cravat for the evening! Our friends and family will love it!

My day dress is completely different, not typically traditional in any way but still totally me. I won't be able to dance in it, so figured I'd get a different dress for the evening otherwise I'd be tripping over my dress. By the time I swap dresses I'll be tiddly enough to wear that way out dress anyway. Described it to my Mum before and she said it sounds like a show girl dress!
  • i think i remember seeing you photo ( was it a engagment shot) if so although i did think the dress looked tacky on the person selling it seeing what you look like i can kinda imagine it looking a bit alternitive han chavvy and tacky unlesss you want to go for that look! :P
