walking shoes, Inverness

Any one know of a good sports shop in Inverness that will help me get the right pair of shoes for walking. as there seems to be so many types to buy

    Obviously there are the usual suspects, Tiso should be good. Have you tried the small sports shop by the river (not on the town side). It is near the glass fronted restaurant and the old bingo hall (opposite the mustard seed), (sorry to be so vague). People have advised me to go there for trainers as they take time to find out what you will be doing etc before making any suggestions, so may be the same with boots (if they do them)

    I would second Tiso, as I have bought walking shoes in the Inverness branch before and found the staff knowledgable and friendly and seemed to have a reasonable range of good products for the size of the shop.
