Do you mean soap powder as in bold, daz, ariel etc?

Without sounding rude - is this for real?????
I am surprised that people use soap powder or stardrops in the dishwasher. Would saving soooooo much money since the Fairy tabs cost a fortune.I have learned that success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has had to overcome while trying to succeed. Hi,
I have used regular washing powder, too. I use the cheapest I can find! Just a teaspoonful and the dishes come out sparkling. Nothing ever tastes soapy.
Try it - I'm sure you'll be surprised.0 -

I use the "Daisy" brand from Tesco's (their discount line). I went straight from using Finish Quantum Mega-Expensive (I had a voucher for lots of money off) to Daisy and haven't noticed any difference0

I agree....
I always used to use the most expensive Lidl dishwasher tablets, and found the results as good as Finish.....
Then one day, I asked my dad to pick up the same, whilst in Lidl....
He picked up the cheaper version ....
To be honest... I cant tell the difference....
