This morning I checked our bank account so I could see which DD had come out and which purchases other the weekend had cleared etc
I was going to withdraw £20 today so I could spend it willy nilly on magazines and sweets:o (which doesn't help my diet) Instead I did an online payment to the Credit Card for £20:T and I also gave OH my car keys last night so that I have to walk the 3.5 miles to work (and the 3.5 miles back:eek:)
It's got me off to a good start knowing that I have no money in my purse to spend and that I have 52 days till our holiday :T so need to keep focused on the diet!:T

Well done leni. It's so easy to think "it's only 20 quid...." and so hard to do what you've done. Way to go :j

hi Leni,
That is such a good idea, reducing your debt is a much greater reward than sweets and magazines! I am going to try it myself.
Well done on the weight loss too!Saving for an early retirement!0 -

Thank you all!
I'm not looking forward to the walk to work! I have a work assignment to do first and I'll be heading off to work at about 11am!
Sometimes I do these little payments and forget about them and then when the new statement comes through it's great to see the balance lower than what I thought it was!
