I have a CCJ due to falling into arrears with Northern Rock. I contacted the the Courts and Northen Rock, explained I could only pay £10 and they told me to do this. I have never received any documents to support this or even a statement from Northern Rock.

Do I continue paying the the CCJ? What happens if the loan arrears are not paid off after 6 years?

Thanks

If the debt is not paid off after 6years then you just continue to pay until it is.

The CCJ will no longer appear on your credit file - but you'll still owe the money until it is all paid off.

You should be able to request a statement from Northern Rock at anytime to show what the outstanding balance is.
