Hi there im new to the forum , been looking at it for the last month or so ... im so stressed and just wanted to tell you why .
my partner and i have a 90k mortgage and are struggling really bad with paying it along with other bills and the regular stuff ie gas lec council tax water etc etc its been going on now for about a year and half , work dropped off for my partner no extra hours to be had , i work 3 partime jobs at the local school, we have £36 left at the end of the week, weve had a budget plan in action and stuff like shopping is down to the minimum, no luxurys at all ,we have 2 kids age 13 ,my daughter never asks for much ,and step daughter doesnt live with us,we had a camping holiday last summer and thats it ,which was paid on a credit card (that we cut up later on )...and nothing this year. Basicly were soooo fed up with paying £780 mortgage and having no money , We are having a major family meeting fri nt to talk about selling up and moving into a tourer (we have a site lined up nearby so no need to move school or work ) and a tourer will be paid for out of house sale, we did touring with our previous partners for 6 yrs, so wot do you think ? thanks

really sorry to read your story and hope you get back on track.
90k mortgage, how much do you expect to sell for?0 -
Could you change the mortgage term for a bit longer and get smaller payments?, or go interest only for a while until work picks up?0
-
unless the term is short or the rate is madly high those figures don't add up at all ???Nothing to see here, move along.0

hi my partner took the mortgage out 2 yr ago in his own name , and cos of his age its over 19 yrs, ive found the paper work out and he borrowed 98,955,.0
-
we would expect to sell for 120k .0

whats your interest rate your paying?
Have you looked at switching?
Interest Only might be a good idea...0 -
Ok the term is short but even so the repayments seem a lot, do you know what the rate is, to get a repayment of £780 using a mortgage calculator needs a rate of around 7%?Nothing to see here, move along.0

More than just a mortgage issue
