Wonga Question

Hello All

Quick wonga question - am due to pay back my loan with them Weds. I wanted to extend that for a day to Thurs as I didn't realise they took the money back at 6am the morning of payday - I'm not sure my money coming in would've cleared by 6am. I will have the funds to pay them back on Weds just not at 6am. So my question is has anyone else managed to extend their loans with wonga by a day - I know this will add another day of interest on & I don't want to not pay them back just a bit later on Weds would do!

Any advice appreciated thanks!

Generally BACS transfers hit the account at midnight so if this is the way your payment is arriving it should be ok?

The funds are a paypal transfer from my ebay selling ways! I thought they'd clear at midnight but when I've checked my internet banking today to see the pattern of money coming in & out of the account the debits on a day are always taken before a credit. So I look at a statement for a day & debit cards payments come out before my paypal money is paid in (if that makes sense?!) The paying in transactions appear after the paying out - which is why I'm now concerned they'll try & take their money back before my paypal transfer money goes in.

    Hope that makes sense?!

Your bank should allow the day to close all the debits and credits before the close of business. LTSB do :)

ooh I'm with LTSB! So does that mean that as long as the money does go into the account on Wednesday it'll still be honoured?
