Overcharged yesterday - only clicked last night?

Hi there - sorry if this is in the wrong place, I wasnt sure where I should post?

Anyway, yesterday after a rather fraught day at work, I popped into Lidls to get a few bits & bobs. They have diet pepsi on offer at the mo - 2 bottle for £2, so I bought 2 cases (16 bottles). Anyway, at the till, the girl rang it through but the offer never came up, so she tried a couple of times till she got it right. I was VERY aware of the people behind me in the queue (lots of huffing and mumbling and dirty looks), so with everything else I bought and tried to pack away as quickly as possible, I never noticed that actually, I've been overcharged by £25! Incidentally, they've told me previously that it's store policy you cant buy more than 2 cases when it's on offer although there's no disclaimer instore or on their flyers.

I'll be going there tonight after work, but I was wondering exactly what my rights are? They try and get you out the door so quick, and like I said I was aware of the people backing up behind me ...

I have an awful feeling that it's too late, should have noticed before I left the store, but I didnt. Can anyone offer any advice please?

Did they charge you for more bottles than you actually got or was the discount not off? Think it will depend on which one of these it is.
