42" Phillips plasma at argos £799.....

I have just seen this plasma on the argos website for £799. reduced from £1500.... This seems like a good bargain. Does anyone know if this plasma is any good , i know it doesn't have HD but I am not really interested in that feature.

doesnt look like it is a HD ready tv,but it may be HD compatible.

It's £899 at richersounds, so not a great bargain, and not HDTV either

although some plasmas even without a HD ready logo can give a HD picture as i found out on my panasonic plasma / sky HD.

And if we read the OPs 1st post, HE DOESNT CARE IF IT'S HD! And I'm not sure many people do care about it! But it is a 'Jones's' thing.

Full specs here, HD Compatible, Digital tuner, looks great, but don't know anything about it and I can't find any reviews on it, except one on Amazon.
