Basically they are blowing hot air and terminating the facility, well it's not a facility it's now a debt in a DMP so they are wasting their paper.

A default will naturally follow as the Banking system (collections instigation) will follow until they finally accept that the DMP offer is the best that they are going to get.

No matter how long you have been with then, you are now just a sales opportunity lost and just a number in a machine that spits out pointless letters. Don't lose any sleep over it. You've done all you can, you are paying and you have spent the time and effort required to get on a DMP. Good on you!

Sorry Barclays but that' how it is. - Take that approach and hold yer head high.

As above has said, think it is just standard procedure. Termination notice will probably mean they are withdrawing your facilities but as stated, by way of a dmp that's happened already.

I'm assuming that CCCS have suggested you open a new account with a different bank so that you can include your Barclays overdraft in the dmp?

They will play games for a while but will eventually accept - just have to ride the storm with them.
