CAP one signature request....

I have written to all my CC providers to ask for interst etc to be frozen for 3 months, i included a SOA and explained our situation.
I have just recived a letter from CAP 1 saying they cannot deal with my request as i did not sign the request ( as per other posts i just signed digitally)
What should i do now?
Do i just ignore this letter and keep sending token payments oris there another template i can use to say they dont need my signature?
I seem to remember seeing something about this somewhere but cant find it now!
any help appreciated

Someone else wrote it, but it now remains in NIDs topic with some additional edits, here - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showpost.html?p=30356269&postcount=20

Just CapOnes normal tactic to try and delay/avoid complying with the request.

As the letter linked to says, a signature is not required on a CCA request, and does not get them out of any legal obligation to comply fully.

Hi, garwil, Ive, had the same problem with another DCA. I followed DC and niddys advice, the results are interesting to say the least. They say they cant release the CCA untill I prove my identity, DC added a paragraph to my next letter and the relevant regulation that if they were confident enough to send me a demand then I needed take no further action to prove my identity. Its realy making them work for the money. Keep all communucations in writing (I'm shure you now that), the next thing they will probrably ask for are details of previous addresses. Give them nothing untill you have asked advice.

    Best wishes handyman123.
