Lemsip/tea stains

Hi, after just recovering from a cold i have discovered this bizarre tip that may come in handy for someone - if you leave some diluted lemsip in a cup overnight that has stubborn tea stains it completely removes it!!
I couldnt be bothered to do all my washing up when i was really fluey and having to cope with a baby and a partner with whopping "man cold" and discovered in the morning that the stains out of a cup that has awkward indents inside had gone so last night i made up a sachet and put it in a couple others that had similar indents and this morning my cups look good as new
I hope this is ok in this section - its sort of ww11 stlye cost cutting as most people have lemsip in for emergancies and no forking out on new cups or pricey cleaners.

:hello: Welcome Sinope
Thank you for the tip. This is the perfect place to post it:D
We don't use Lemsips here but often have hot water with lemon first thing in the morning, or make hot toddies when we have colds.

Also, much much cheaper than lemsips, you can buy washing soda crystals in the supermarket which will also get rid of tannin stains from tea and plenty of other uses besides. Hope you don't mind me mentioning alternatives~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
