There was an item on our local news last week about local puddings that were no longer being made & were in the process of being lost. The particular one they were talking about was Malvern Pudding. Tied up at the time so I could not take the details.

Sorry to revive a 4 year old thread but I just watched the Hairy Bikers on the tour of Britain series make this in Malvern Worcestershire. The version they did was a kind of apples and custard with a toffee topping- totally gluten free and yummy looking - which makes a change from most puddings. If you have a glut of apples check it out.
