Hello Elloyd. I am in a similar position where I am struggling to avoid a DMP to keep my credit file in tact. In my case I am in the difficult position where my debts will take 4 years to clear but defaults last 6 years. I am hoping to get a mortgage at some point in my life so am truly stuck. Its a horrible feeling and a DMP does not look appealing at all.
Hope you work out what's best for you.
Quite curious about Choc-addicts situation. I had always assumed that all creditors would issue a default within months but you only got two out of 10!
So if they accept your arrangement to pay then they wont neccessarily default you?
