In debt with credit cards how do I get debt free

Hi, like others I have got myself in to credit card debt, I am paying off the min. payments which amounts to £5 off the debt a month on each card and even I can see this is going to take a long time. I don't mind paying for my debts but would rather be paying off the debt instead of the interest. Present situations have resulted me in being able to only just afford the lower payments so would appreciate any advise.

Was concidering removing the PPI on the cards as this would either lower the monthly payments or result in more of the debt being payed each month. Not sure where I stand about being able to agree with credit card agents changing the interest rates to lower ones or becoming fixed rates for life of debt to lower debt. Another option was a loan but already got one so not sure where I stand as to making my present loan larger or getting another. Just basically need to lower my monthly debt payments to a managable amount. As I stated before I am willing to pay for my debt but don't want to go down the lines of bankrupt or losing my house.....

Not really sure what all my options are to resolve these money issues so would really appreciate anyones advise and help.

Thank you in advance

Since last posting I have removed my ppi on the cards to try to reduce my payments and pay more of the debt off. Is this a wise move and could someone please advise me as to what iv's are or dmp as I really have no idea as to what my options are.

Thank you

Have you had many credit checks recently? (last 6 months)

You may be able to apply for a new credit card with a 0% APR offer like Virgin.
