I won Soap & Glory-thanks Netimka, but some missing :(

Yay, first win in ages - tried to remain calm when postie delivered a box this morning incase it was the usual 'free magazine or cat food sample'!!!

Opened it to find some lovely soap and glory goodies... the only thing is that whilst it was sent recorded the box was not sealed. On looking at the op here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2176231 it says that you win the range worth £32.92. When i checked the Boots website the value of the three products i received are only £13.47

Now i don't know what to do - i was initially really excited by my little packet and now feel a bit greedy to complain that it isn't all there? It's only when i saw 'what i could have won' that i felt a bit dissapointed

What would you do?? The e-mail address provided seemed specific for that competition entry so not even sure who i could contact??

Still... at least I won, BF will be happy :j

I got a smashed bottle of whisky before christmas and was going to leave it at that as it was royal mails fault, but some peeps on here advised me to email, which i did and a new one arrived a few days after!

So i would try and email them (Netimka may know which mag it was from) , but the blurb does say for men range (including Shave Gel, Anti-Perspirant Spray and Hair & Body Wash) was it theese that you got? they may have got a bit confused and only sent those bits??

Thanks Merdoom, I got a Shave Gel, Anti-Perspirant Spray and mosturiser (?) there have been another couple of winners so I will try and check with them what they received!

It sounds like some of your prize has gone astray. The competition web page has been taken down but I've just dug out my copy of the January / February Health and Beauty mag (my magazine-hoarding skills have finally come in handy ). The Soap and Glory prize photo shows:

- 'A Shave to Love' shave gel
- 'Soap'er Man' hair and body wash (one bottle)
- 'The Clean of England' shower gel
- 'Dry Hard' anti-perspirant spray
- 'Al Fresco' deodorant body spray
- 'Eau Man!' body spray

I imagine all that would be closer to the promised £32.92 of stuff. I'd definitely contact someone about it - you could try the promo people and the Boots Customer Services. I take the line that I'd complain if I'd paid money for the prize so winning it shouldn't change anything. I hope you manage to get it sorted. Good luck!

You're welcome. No, sorry, no email address in the mag. I'd just use the one in the OP as they're the PR company for the Boots mag:

If the email address bounces back, there's a general email address: info@redwoodgroup.net . If that's no use, Boots CS may be able to help. I seem to remember there was a Boots competition with several prizes of a candle in a glass jar. Some of the jars turned up smashed and apparently the CS sent out gift cards to buy replacements. Maybe they'd be able to do something similar for you?
