Lots around at £49.99, in Argos Dixons Supermarkets, etc,I seem to remember Sainsbury's having one that was recommended by a Hi-Fi mag, and they have a sale instore at mo.Moi....?

Martin asked me to say I'm a volunteer Board Guide on the Utilities board, facilitating its smooth running. I can move & change posts there. However I do not read every post.

Sainsbury's are selling the "Red DB7" for £50. According to What Hi-Fi "This radio is the cheapest in the test yet has a balanced sound that beats many of the more expensive sets". It looks very cool too, which cannot be said for the Roberts or Pure models.0

Perhaps you don't want the cheapest radio, but the best price on a better one? If that's the case Allders are selling the Sony XDRS1 for £122 (£179-£200 pre-Xmas). It has FM (RDS), MW and LW as well as DAB, remote control - I've got one and it sounds about as good as a DAB radio can. It can receive L-band too so if you take it to mainland Europe it will still work, unlike (I believe) any of the others available. I saw it in the Sheffield Meadowhall Sainsburys yesterday for £129, so prices look to be creeping down generally.

Ok I know there are mixed views on Ebuyer - personally I've used 3 times and never had a problem.
They have ...
Crown CDR140 DAB Radio at £52.95
check out the best sellers also on the right hand side
As an alternative check out DABS £49.99
