home recovery

hi there,

can anyone advice me about re-owning home? I had terrible financial problems and I stopped repaying my mortgage payments. It has been nearly 2 and half years since i stopped my repayments. I was so stupid and I did not make any contact with my lender believing that I did not have any options otherwise. Infact I did not have any equity left on the property. I was first time buyer and baught the property without making myself prepared for the unforeseens. is there any ways I can do something to re-own that property? what would be my first step towards that.

please somebody help me.

Can you explain what you mean by re-own your home? Your post reads as though you are still in the property and it hasn't been repossessed? If this is the case you need to get in touch with your lender immediately and speak to them to find out the severity of the situation, are you in a position to repay all or part of the arrears? If you've been evicted and repossessed then I'm really not sure what you mean I'm afraid.
