I'm still up for a day trip to Eastbourne this Saturday even if it's just me, Purple, Lillibet & Spud (those are the three I remember were definitely planning to come - and all of them are folks I've been dying to meet!) and isn't scuzz coming too? And Caterina if she can make it... Let me know

I can't make October 28th as hubby is working & needs the car:rolleyes: Please could we make a decision about this weekend as hubby is plaguing me to know whether he can drop me off in Eastbourne & go bird watching or if it's all off then we'll have to stay at home & stain the garden fence!?

Lillibet - even if it was just me, you, & purple (& scuzz & Caterina?) - and of course Spud it would be worth it, right?

The little "do" we had at that pub in Holborn, with me, catznine, Shez and SnowyOwl (and Snowy and Catz's entourages!) wasn't really planned in advance, was very informal, and was jolly good fun

Yeah go for this weekend - maybe its better if theres not too many people that way you can get to know people properly, if theres too many you might not get to chat to everyone?

Purple, do you want to suggest a venue? It's obviously got to be somewhere with a good supply of cheap food and drink, where Lillibet can bring the baby.
