Release of Trustee?

I have received a letter from the OR saying he is applying to be released as the trustee. I have searched the forum about this, but could not find a definitive answer of what it means. It also says that insufficient assets have been realised to enable a dividend to be paid to my creditors. What exactly does this letter mean?

Just means 99% of the OR's work is done and dusted.

The official receiver may apply for his/her release as liquidator/trustee when the administration of a company, partnership or bankruptcy estate is for all practical purposes complete.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
