Great AMEX SKY+ deal!

If you're looking to get SKY for the first time and have an Amex card.....you can get a really rather good deal.

With the AMEX benefits you can get a SKY+ box for just £49 -- compared to £99 and with free installation -- which saves you another £60!

If you combine this with SKY's current free 6 months of free movies or sports it adds up to pretty good deal -- whcih alss means you don't have to pay the £10 extra a month for Sky+ subs for the 6 months.

I managed to do even better by still getting the Quidco £50 and their £10 online discount -- even when I rang the call centre --which you'd have to do to get the AMEX deal. I live in a brand new house and the postcode wouldn't work on their website, so the sales person agreed to credit the online discounts to my account.

Plus eventually I'll get the "free" broadband -- so SKY looks good value for new subscribers at least.

Good luck!

    Hi,

Here's the link to the Amex Sky+ offer:

    ttp://www.americanexpress.com/uk/newtoamex/new/categories.cgi?cat=leisure&region=All

It has a special number to call where they know about the deal. As for the Quidco...well you can but try. There's always GreasyPalm too offering £27.50. They just credited it to my Sky account - which is fine. But then I couldn't do it online because my postcode is new and unecognised.

    Best of luck

    Hi,
I have managed to get it all for FREE!!!!

We have sky in my name but have signed up online ( quidco £50 and £10 cashback) using my husbands name and e mail address as a new sky + custumer = no charge = zero pounds!!!!

Sounds like a great offer, though I haven't got an amex card

Any tips to get the same sort of deal for sky+ without an amex card?, I really don't wanna pay £159 for the box and install.

    Thanks.

I wanted to do this but in the terms and conditions it states: Offer excludes previous or existing Sky digital households So surely its not possible to put it in your partners name?

Good luck to you - i'd be surprised if you got the £50 credit - the advisor would say anything to get you to sign up

OK...I've just tried to do this again to check I can. this time I used my daughters name, my other e mail address, put an (a) after the house number and used my work telelphone number (has to be a landline).Probably didn't have to do all that cause I think it is just based on your telephone number. It definately gives you a free package and a booking date.
Please let me know if anyone has any success/failure with this. Might need to hide the existing system when they come to install!!!!;)
