I've just bought a couple of cherry trees at Morrisons for £5 each, they've started to bud in the last couple of days. And a fuchsia was £1.29

I wonder how you manage to post a tree for a 1st class stamp?

Whilst the P&P on most TV deals is pants, is £6.99 for a tree really that bad?

I think you'll find the main post offices want accept trees, you need to go to a branch office.

No, I ordered just one cherry tree, which came to 6 99. I bought a tree from Homebase and it was 9 99 which is the standard price, but they are even pricier in a lot of garden centres

    See the quote below though

With the supermarket, you get the pick of the bunch.

  • Yep on face value it looks great but as you start making up your basket it gets very expensive. I guess there is no such thing as a free tree.
  • 5 pound for a tree is an excellent price.

I got a couple of goosberry bushes in Homebase for £2.99 each, they also had a few other berry varieties on sale. They were boxed and inside the store rather than outide with the plants. Been planted out for just over a week and are already sprouting new leaves.

We got a lovely ornamental cherry tree from Morrisons which was £2, and is doing fantastically in its pot, loads of leaves on it already.
  • I want the fruiting type, They had some ornamental trees in Aldi
